About Kevin Montgomery
This site is new, and I sort of laughed when I came to edit this page. I have briefly put some text on this page saying, “UNDER CONSTRUCTION”…….I realized that was pretty on-target. I’m still underconstruction!! Fits.
Here is the brief explanation of who I am.
Dad sang and wrote songs with Buddy Holly. Mom sang with Elvis. Grew up in Nashville. My dog was my best friend growing up. Sang in the subways of New York when I was 19. Moved to LA with everything I owned in the back of my truck when I was 22. Got a record deal with A&M Records at 23. Was the “New Kid in Town”……..found the girl. Lost the girl. Removed myself from A&M, publishing deals, etc……..moved back to Nashville. Became top paper deliverer for the Tennessean, became great waiter and valet parker, made own record, sang with Lee Ann Womack, had a song recorded by Martina McBride on 3 million selling Evolution, got record played on BBC2, Got video played on Top of the Pops2, packed bags for UK tour April 2000, became a father, became a juggler, learned what life is all about (children), completed 2 50 States in 50 Days tours in 2008 and 2009, is still waiting to unpack bags from 2000, is learning, is loving…………am looking forward to the 2010 50 States in 50 Days tour.
