Joan Rivers now has her copy of My Orange Duffel Bag-thanks to Kathy Louise Patrick

The 50 States in 50 Days tour is about sharing……..the Orange Duffel Bag Foundation is about sharing, and Kathy Louise Patrick of the Pulpwood Queens Book Club is putting her money where her mouth is. She shared My Orange Duffel Bag with Joan Rivers this past week while she was doing her hair for a TV show. This is what it is all about. Putting the book in people’s hands. Once that happens……they freak. They love it.
Here is Kathy Louise Patrick’s account of her encounter with Joan Rivers:
She remembered me but I told her I had changed my hair, now ORANGE, as due to a book. Of course, being the avid reader, she wanted to know the whole story of how I stated on Facebook that if I could sell 1,000 copies of My Orange Duffel Bag, I would color my hair Orange. She loved the idea and asked about the book. I just so happened to have a copy. She absolutely loved the design, zipped the book open and just keep telling me it was fabulous. I gave her the copy and she made sure Graham had it tucked away in her suitcase. All of you can check it out at http://www.myorangeduffelbag.com/.
Kathy has stated that My Orange Duffel Bag will be a best-seller, and she is doing her part. That is what we need……..folks like Kathy championing the book, the cause, and the tour. Join us. Order your copy. Host a house concert on the 50 States in 50 Days tour. Be involved. Help us help teens aging out of foster care, and/or homeless teens……teens like Sam Bracken once was. What “influencer” do you know……to put the book in their hands? Email me.
